Powerful Play

“What’s Your Play Personality Style?” with Robert Manolson

Small Changes. Big Results.

This Play-Based Workshop Experience is packed with valuable insights about YOU and YOUR PLAY PERSONALITY STYLE that ultimately impacts HOW YOU ACTUALLY PLAY WITH CHILDREN in your role as a Child Care Professional. And HOW YOUR PLAY PERSONALITY STYLE ACTUALLY INFLUENCES YOUR TEAM MEMBERS & TEAM SUCCESS...day to day!

Recharge Psychology

“Beyond Behaviour – Supporting Neurodivergent Kids for School-Age Care” with Zac Erickson

Beyond Behaviour introduces a practical, trauma-informed lens for understanding neurodivergent kids in school-age care. Rather than focusing on compliance, this workshop helps educators recognize stress responses, reduce escalation, and support regulation using connection-first strategies. Participants will engage in brief embodiment exercises, learn simple scripts used effectively in real classrooms, and leave with tools that enhance safety, dignity, and cooperation—without power struggles or burnout.

Clay for Kids

Grecian Urns - with Jennifer Towmkiw

Immerse yourself in the ancient art form of pottery and create your own Grecian urn in the style of the ancients. Students will learn clay building techniques to build a vessel and decorate it in the style of the Greeks. You will love how each project turns out as unique as the student that created it.

Creative Childcare Consulting

"Creating Fun, Portable Outdoor Environments: School Age Style" with Sharon Ness:

After school time and non-school days are the perfect time for staff and children to create new environments by setting up portable outdoor centres! Enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors, enjoy new physical environments and allow children the space and fresh air to learn and grow through natural play experiences. In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to assess outdoor play spaces and plan to set up outdoor activity centres. We will focus on engaging children to participate at different levels as well as having different activities available for children to have choice. This is a fun, interactive workshop! Make sure you are dressed in comfortable as well as for the weather!

Play Together Lab

Coaching Play, Friendship, & Emotional Recovery with Jennifer Bulmer

This one-hour workshop introduces the Play Together Lab approach to supporting play and friendship skills through shared language, intentional coaching, and repeated practice. Participants will learn how to coach children through real play situations using clear, consistent language—without rescuing, shaming, or escalating conflict. The session focuses on what educators can do in the moment to help children join play, manage disappointment, play fairly, and repair small problems so play can continue.

Inspired Minds

“Build it Up & The Magic of Loose Parts” with Tina Geers

Get ready to build, tinker, and explore! This hands-on workshop invites educators to dive into the world of block play and loose parts, where creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving come to life in school-age programs. Through active building and playful exploration, participants will experience how blocks and open-ended materials spark engineering thinking, collaboration, and STEM learning—exploring concepts like balance, stability, force, measurement, and design. Educators leave with practical ideas for creating rich play invitations that encourage children to experiment, take risks, and build big ideas through play.
